Analytical Ultracentrifugation Software
The Bioinformatics Core Facility supports the UltraScan software package for the
analysis of sedimentation velocity and sedimentation equilibrium experiments. The
software can be accessed from a
Unix account
on the bioinf server. To
start a session, you will need a Unix account and an X-terminal display to
display the GUI program.
Once you are logged in, you can access the software by opening an X-terminal
and typing "us" at the prompt. You will need to register your use with a
free academic Linux license over the web. A license file will be mailed to your
e-mail account. Copy that file from your e-mail to your home directory on the
Unix server into a file called ~/.uslicense.
